Ministry of Commerce issued Order No.63/2020 on 28th August 2020 under the Trademark Law related to the online filing system of trademark registration and set the commencement date of Soft-Opening on 1st October 2020.
During the soft-opening period, the trademarks which registered at the Registration of Deed Office and the trademarks which are actual use in Myanmar Market whether registered at the Registration of Deed Office or not are only available to file the application. Therefore, it is very important of the trademark owner to file the trademark to protect not to loss of their use of priority during the soft-opening.
